Did you know …? 60% of children in South African schools do not know the alphabet by the end of Grade 1 (age 6) and by Grade 4 (age 10), almost 80% still cannot read for meaning.  These stats from anewly published Early Grade Reading Study (EGRS) commissioned by the South African Basic Education Department hit hard. Winter Warmers On Their Way!

Autumn is in the air in South Africa and so is our Net Buddies’ excitement for the arrival of their 2023 hooded sweaters!  Thank you so much for ensuring they stay warm this winter.  As the season changes and they adapt to shorter days and longer periods of darkness, we are thankful for the extra support, strength and motivation our Infinite Family provides to keep them on track and succeeding in school.
