Investing in Teens Reaps Rewards

Resilience is one of the earliest skills our Net Buddies learn to develop. Along with making the discovery that every obstacle they meet on the way to achieving their goals (no matter how painful or frustrating) can be an opportunity to grow. 

It’s certainly been a useful life skill for our latest cohort of Grade 12 graduates as they prepared to head off to college. For them, qualifying for tertiary study and earning a place on a degree course has been both the start of a bright new chapter ... and a fresh set of challenges!

We're Doing Something Right

Barbie and Oppenheimer aren’t the only ones who care about ratings. So do we.  However, it’s not Oscar & Friends whose opinion matters to us, it’s our peers in the NGO world. A good rating speaks to the credibility of our team, our program, and the validity and value of the work we do. We’re delighted to continue earning top certifications from US NGO rating agency, Candid, and worldwide NGO partner, GlobalGiving, for 2024.

These endorsements are very important to us because they tell existing and prospective donors that, when they contribute to Infinite Family, they can be confident their money is being used wisely and well.

Happy Human Rights Day

South Africa has many public holidays (there are a total of 14 in 2024) and 21 March is Human Rights Day. A day that grows in relevance on the global calendar every year. Our Net Buddies will remember the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for democracy and use the day to exert their own human rights by studying, in preparation for a brighter, financially independent future.
