The best day of the year for African teens isn’t Black Friday.
It’s Giving Tuesday.
Half-price sneakers and discount jeans may be a great deal, but the real deal for 16-year-old Hope and the other kids in our mentorship program is having a safe space, with access to technology, where they can study and connect with their Video Mentors.
Your support empowers them with the educational tools, skills and support they need to build themselves a brighter, financially independent future.
The LaunchPads installed by our Infinite Family in their Alexandra, Khayelitsha, and Soweto communities provide computers, internet access and a quiet place for them to do research, homework and study for tests. As well as a private space for their weekly one-on-one mentorship calls.
Together, the resources YOU provide support our teens to:
Stay motivated and escape the distractions of township life.
Focus on the schoolwork that will open doors further education and secure jobs.
Attain the financial stability they choose for themselves.
YOU can give them the chance they need. |
