No Stopping Her Now!

Can there be anything more gratifying than hearing from one of our Infinite Family members that life after school is going well and they’re happy on the path they’ve set for themselves? For us, it’s pretty hard to beat! Especially when they’ve had the opportunity to put their resilience and self-belief to the test and come out flying.

When Net Buddy Lesedi left high school in Johannesburg’s Alexandra township eighteen months ago, armed with a full ride scholarship and a ton of ambition, we knew she’d flourish. We also knew she’d face a slew of challenges, as she headed off to University in another town, and had to learn to live independently, manage money for the first time and find a way to balance her studies and her social life on a campus full of distractions. Growth and Expansion Doesn't Just Happen

Infinite Family isn’t sitting still. Across South Africa, teens’ need for educational tools, resources and skills-building activities is immense and we’re gearing up to provide them. In preparation, the entire IF team has been learning a new business management system called EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and we’re happy to report that it is going very well (despite the 3am meeting start-time for our US team members)!

We can already see increased efficiencies in the way we work together to set and achieve goals, identify and solve issues and understand how we need to be better aligned with our video mentors to strengthen SA's teens for succeed in school, work, and life.

Thanks to Catherine Juon and Kim Galbraith of Empowering Change, which is sponsoring our EOS transformation process and sharing their experience, we’re also seeing a significant uptick in our preparedness to be open with one another when we need support, and to take initiative and personal responsibility. We so we appreciate the insights and experience they bring to our sessions!
