Joy, Pride, and Relief

There’s joy, pride and relief to go around at all of Infinite Family’s LaunchPad sites this January with 9 Bachelors’ and 4 Diploma passes and 1 rewrite.

Here are some reactions from our excited NBs and  their families:

“I’m happy and proud of myself for working hard to achieve my matric.” Net Buddy Neo

“I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders as it was not an easy journey. It was a difficult journey, But I had to put more effort to make myself and my family proud. Passing matric is a huge accomplishment and I have got every reason to be proud of myself. I feel happy and joyful as I will be stepping into my dream course to study as a young girl from the township.” Net Buddy Lesego

“I am really happy that my baby passed her matric as she is the first one in my family to finish high school, my gratitude goes to IF and Millicent for their support.” Puleng, Mother of a Net Buddy

“I am sad and happy at the same time about my results. At least there is a way forward – I have enrolled for Electrical Engineering at Boland College. I can further my studies by going to university after I complete N6.” Net Buddy Phiko

Them passing Grade 12 fills me with overwhelming pride and relief. I remember every struggle they overcame, and seeing them step confidently into adulthood brings deep joy and emotion. It feels like reaching a finish line together—and knowing they’re ready to run the next race on their own.” Nolufefe, Mother of twin Net Buddies

“I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I PASSED my matric rewrite! It wasn’t easy, but all the late nights, early mornings and endless practice papers paid off. I’m beaming with pride and can’t wait to see what the future holds! I would like to thank everyone who supported me on this journey especially (my MENTOR) couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️” Net Buddy Tshegofatso

“I am grateful for the lessons, the friendships and the support I got along my passing of matric. My journey has yet to begin and I look forward to what new adventures this world has to bring.” Net Buddy Elizabeth

“Receiving my matric results was a moment of mixed emotions. I was proud of the distinctions I achieved, yet disappointed that my marks in Mathematics and Physical Sciences fell short of the medicine prerequisite. Rather than seeing this as a closed door, I have chosen to adapt my path. My next step is to build a new foundation by pursuing an IT qualification at the College of Cape Town. This deliberate pivot will provide me with the skills and academic standing to successfully transition to university, keeping my long-term goal of higher education firmly in view.” Net Buddy Ndiphiwe

“I feel very excited as I can’t believe that I finally achieved my childhood goal by finally having NQF 4 (Matric equivalent) and by passing it with nice marks although they are not perfect, but I am proud of my hard work, prayer, and fighting to finish school without repeating any grade.” Net Buddy Lesedi

My matric experience, I had a great experience in matric, the pressure was not bad at all. Grade 12 was one of my favourite grades in my schooling journey, I really enjoyed it. I am very happy with my final marks and made myself very proud.” Net Buddy Denzel
