“To those who make mistakes, I would like to say: learn from your mistakes, and do not make the same mistake day after day. Nowadays, things change so quickly, and people say there are no role models to look up to, but we do have one, and that’s our mentors.”
These are the words of Lwazi, one of our Net Buddies — and they capture something we witness time and again in our program. Growth isn’t about avoiding mistakes; it’s about what comes after them. Lwazi is one of so many of our teens who choose to learn, to reflect, and to keep moving forward with intention. 🌟
That kind of growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens because our teens have consistent, caring mentors in their corner — people willing to answer their questions, share their own experiences, and remind them that their future is worth investing in. ✨
Our teens are already doing the work of investing in themselves: showing up, asking questions, and taking ownership of their education and their future. What they need next is a community willing to invest in them, too. 💝
