A First in Alexandra

It’s another first for Infinite Family and one for Alexandra too: Welcome Ambassador Reuben Brigety, III and the U.S. Embassy South Africa Team and thank you for spending the afternoon in Alexandra Township with our Infinite Family.  With his background in education, Ambassador Brigety was especially interested in meeting with our Net Blazer alums about their path from township to tertiary and beyond. And he was extremely good at making them feel comfortable enough to share their stories. “He made me feel important when talking to me, he was engaged and interested to hear my story,” Christina told us afterward. We are so proud of our young South Africans and honored to share how they work hard to achieve success in school, work and life.  Special thanks to Cynthia Griffin for organizing this inspiring visit and much more.
